Including a dare to go spend an evening at the infamous Ghost Strip Club. The ever popular establishment, high-end provider of the most enticing and luxurious sins of the flesh, equally intimidates and fascinates Rain. Beyond the heavy cathedral doors of the club lies a whole world of temptations and pleasures with its own rules, its own codes, its own inhabitants. Rain gets a taste of the peculiar staff of the club in more ways than one, and he also gets a confidence lesson he won’t soon forget. Okie question time: surviving Ancients building a New Amaurot?? Yes pls??? But also how do they survive???? I'm so glad Hyth and Elidibus are there though, they're unabashedly my favourites aside from G'raha and Emet Selch. I was also wondering if you guys have any plans on writing smth about how, after the Final Days, Emet, G'raha and Corrain (and maybe Lelesu) work to find some way to return to the first? This curiosity probably stemmed from you guys giving Lyna interactions with Uncle Emet, I could not stop smiling at those.

okay SO. as to how each of the ancients survives is different; Hyth is the easiest, because in canon on Ultima Thule he and Emet choose to leave instead of using Hydaelyn's magicks to become corporeal again. so he just chooses to stay instead. Elidibus we're saving in the last tier of pandaemonium; between the last lingering fragments of Hydaelyn's gift and Emet's own magic. it will still take him a long time to recover and piece himself back together, but he will. Lahabrea is harder, but we've decided to go with a fan theory that his soul is stuck in Estinien's lance alongside Nidhogg, so once Hyth (who has the best soulsight) gets a look at it they're going to borrow the lance and just yoink him free. his multiple years stuck in a spear alongside an extremely angry dragon watching All That go down have chilled him out and forced him to think on his actions some, though that doesn't mean it'll be smooth sailing all the way through once he's freed.

as for returning to the First, right now we have this on our outline:

i'm headcanoning that the Ascians are capable of traversing the rift physically (even if that's not necessarily quite lore accurate, it's a little bit wibbly) and so Emet is able to take G'raha with him. the others will have to wait until Y'shtola finds a way across on her own, but i expect Elidibus will be willing to help her with that... we will see.

there are several plot points that since it's obviously setting up for future expansions and things, we're kind of waiting to see what the game does with them (like some of the stuff dawntrail introduced). of course we'll probably invent our own stuff eventually if we get to that point in writing and the game still hasn't given us any answers, but since this particular verse is sort of our "canon" we are trying to keep it as game-adjacent as possible so that we don't have to. do tons of wild work for it and it ends up not being related to the current stories being told at all.

i'll tag @sunderedazem in case there's anything he wants to add here, but thank you!! really glad to hear how much you're enjoying things. and the Emet and Lyna interactions are something we both super enjoy too - i actually have a half-done promptfic sitting around that's more of it, i just have to settle down and work on it. though unless something really changes the next thing to be posted will probably be the next bit of Ascian Azem :)

I saw that box ask and I'm wondering what would happen if the other ancestors also had a box

The “Altaïr and Desmond find boxes that lets them send stuff to one another” ask.

So, since the ask above is AltDes, I’m gonna assume this would be EziDes and ConDes to be fair XD

Ezio:

Ezio would be used to sharing things with his siblings and, even if the Auditores were quite wealthy, Ezio still received some hand-me-downs from Federico. So, in this situation, the best way to ensure Ezio would keep the box a secret would be for him to get the box during a time when he hates the idea that his old stuff will be given to Petruccio. By the time he’s warmed up to the idea of Petruccio having his hand-me-downs, the box has been in his possession long enough that he believes it’s his alone. (also, while this wasn’t stated in Altaïr’s version, Ezio and the others become quite possessive of the box and they think of Desmond as their ‘most treasured secret’)

Desmond’s side remains the same, he finds it the same way, he writes about it the same way. The only difference is that Ezio isn’t all that well-verse in the English language but he is curious about the notes in the box so he looks it up. There’s a few teasing from his siblings about how he’s studying something none of his tutors even tell him to study about and he just laughs it off because teasing is pretty much part of their ‘love language’.

So, because Ezio’s English was barely existent, it takes him a while to write back. He learns that the box does get more notes inside it and he believes he found a magical way to talk to a stranger from far away. The more his English gets better (although it’s quite different from the English the writer of the notes uses), the more he realized how lonely and sad the stranger is so he writes back to him in his broken English but he writes in Italian first, adding the broken English below. In Italian, he writes “I’m sorry I’m not good at English but I just want to write this letter. I hope you’re doing well today.” and then cringes because he’s super polite in the letter ‘cause that’s how he was taught to write letters.

Still, it gets the job done and the next letter sounds less sad and more curious when Ezio read it “Who are you?”

From there, Ezio and Desmond start exchanging letters. Later on, they start exchanging small gifts like candies (Desmond) and little trinkets (Ezio) that could fit inside the box.

It’s when Desmond tells Ezio that he plans to run away that they… start understanding when each other is. Because Ezio’s English is still not that good and Desmond doesn’t know enough about world history, Ezio assumes the weird words Desmond says at times (like microwave) are words from Desmond’s dialect that is not used by the books they have at home while Desmond assumes Ezio is a rich kid and doesn’t understand the importance of names like ‘Medici’. So, in this scenario, Desmond runs away and Ezio is just like “Okay, Desmond! Come to Firenze! I will ask my parents to take you in as our ward!”

Then Desmond gets to Florence (it takes a few months because, well, he’s a kid) and follows Ezio’s instructions while Ezio tells his parents about a friend of his that ran away from a ‘bad place’ and their parents are like “a friend? (raised eyebrow)” but they agree to let the friend stay for a bit, more to check who this friend is. All this ward business… they’ll think about it.

Anyway, Desmond gets to Florence but he can’t find Palazzo Auditore so he starts writing to Ezio and they keep exchanging notes while trying to find one another. Then an old lady that hears Desmond looking for Palazzo Auditore tells him that she had heard legends of that name, an old fallen noble family that had its records destroyed long ago.

And Desmond and Ezio continue to write to one another and Desmond finally asks the question “What year are you from?”

And that’s how they learn that they’re centuries apart from one another.

In this scenario, Desmond stays in Italy for the next couple of years, trying to find out what happened to the Auditores because Ezio is freaking out (They disappeared from records? They’re a fallen noble family???) and that leads him to Villa Auditore because Ezio was like “Maybe it’s just our family. I have an uncle in Monteriggioni. Maybe his descendants are still there.” and then… silence. Ezio doesn’t hear from Desmond until…

Ezio got into a fight with Vieri de' Pazzi on the Ponte Vecchio. He habitually opens the box to check if Desmond would ever send anything, sometimes he would send notes just asking if he’s alright, to please talk to him, anything. After getting patched up by the dottore, he checked the box and his heart skips a beat when he sees the folded paper inside. He opens it and…

“Ezio, your father and brothers will be executed in a few days. Leave Florence now.”

So, in this scenario, all of the checking Desmond did got him in the eyes of Abstergo who captured him wwwaaaayyy earlier. He and Ezio are both the same age and are experiencing the same ‘time’ in the sense that they grow older at the same rate. So Abstergo captured him while he’s 17, a month or so before Ezio gets his face hit by a stone that scars him. And because it’s Abstergo that captures him, they have a bit more information of Ezio’s life which Vidic’s assistant (who is not Lucy) was okay with telling Desmond, thinking it will help him synch with Ezio better. Security isn’t all that big deal at the moment since they think Desmond is a child who would cooperate better if they give him a bit of freedom so he has access to paper and pencil.

In this situation, they skipped Altaïr entirely and went straight for Ezio’s memories.

The butterfly effect on this one starts super early because of Desmond’s warning and only Desmond and Ezio are ‘protected’ and keep their memories even as they change the past which changes Desmond’s present.

Also, because this is super early in the timeline, the Assassins might be able to save Desmond earlier too. Maayybbeee.

Ratonhnhaké:ton

For this one, Ratonhnhaké:ton finds the box in the charred ruins of his village after he failed to save his mother. It was underneath the same log that had pinned his mother and he thought that perhaps it belonged to his mother.

The notes were already there by the time Ratonhnhaké:ton found them and he actually thought they might have belonged to his father instead, perhaps notes that his mother had kept about how his father didn’t like their village at all. Then, the notes disappeared and were replaced by new ones, and Ratonhnhaké:ton starts to wonder where these notes are coming from.

So, at this point, Ratonhnhaké:ton was curious about whoever was sending these notes and he brings them to the clan mother who is his grandmother. The clan mother thinks it is a curious thing and she does not remember her daughter ever having one. She encourages Ratonhnhaké:ton to try and contact the one sending the message. Perhaps they could provide guidance to Ratonhnhaké:ton in some way as it did appear underneath the village.

In this one, Ratonhnhaké:ton and Desmond talk to each other in English although Ratonhnhaké:ton is teaching Desmond Kanien'kéha. Ratonhnhaké:ton mostly sends little trinkets like feathers from birds he hunted himself and Desmond usually sends candies as well. Desmond's most prized possession is a necklace Ratonhnhaké:ton made himself. A very similar one to the one he has on his neck where the box is. He made it for Desmond so Desmond could wear the box like him (and because he heard of this thing called 'friendship bracelet' from Desmond and wanted something similar to share with Desmond)

Unlike the Ezio version, Desmond has a vague idea that Ratonhnhaké:ton’s words were strange so they realized they’re not the same time period early on.

Now, here’s where the butterfly effect hits Desmond instead because Ratonhnhaké:ton tries to become an Assassin… at the age of 13. Desmond is still on the Farm by that point and reading the training Ratonhnhaké:ton goes thru…

You guess it.

This is a timeline where Desmond never left the Farm. Instead, Ratonhnhaké:ton’s earnest wish to be an Assassin to protect his village pushes Desmond to do better. Not for his father but because it makes him feel connected with Ratonhnhaké:ton.

In this setup, Desmond starts his ‘next training’ the same time Ratonhnhaké:ton becomes an Assassin (and there’s some light teasing about how Desmond is lagging behind, just friendly banter that makes Ratonhnhaké:ton and Desmond smile) and he learns that his father had acquired an Animus (a very early iteration) and wants to use it to speed up Desmond’s growth. The plan was for him to relive the legendary Ezio Auditore’s memories but something happens.

When they try to load Ezio’s memories, it fails and loads a different memory…

A memory from an unknown ancestor with the date in the Animus saying November 6, 1773.

So… the main point is… Ratonhnhaké:ton and Ezio got fucked by the narrative super early so Desmond gets fucked by the narrative earlier as well. Altaïr, while his life did sorta suck early on (Umar died at 11, Abbas threw away their friendship during their teen years, Adha died, etc), he actually didn’t really get fucked by the narrative until later on?

it is Time

for the post no one asked for but which i shall write nonetheless

now that Voyage has had time to settle, i am ready to put my thoughts into words that make some kind of cohesive sense, for my own benefit and hopefully some enjoyment for others

these are impressions gathered from the previews that Apple Music had available prior to album launch, my first listen-through during the twitch livestream with JD, as well as how all that has gelled over the last week and a half.

The Llandoger--first heard on the Jingle Jam stream and then the JJ concert, this one continues to be sheer fun. the Robbie energy is off the charts, the warmth of that refrain "we'll all be well tonight" really hits in the recorded version with the full chorus echo effect and feels like I'm hearing it live in a concert with the audience singing around me (which. will be made reality in less than three months AAAAH), there will be DANCING.

Whiskey Is the Life of Man--the banjo and the harmonies in this one are driven and intense and I really like that, but the overall sound is more growly and hard-drumming than my tastes generally lean toward. the "recording" sound effects in different places are pretty cool, and did i mention the harmonies. as;lkdjf for being my last favorite song if i were forced at plank-walking-point to rank them, I still admire the craft that went into it!

Proud Mary--this was one of the songs they did a YouTube version of that I would have been clamoring to be on the Kickstarter-unlocked studio sessions album if it hadn't already been on the Voyage tracklist, and the Voyage version is even richer. Instant head bopping, 10/10 no notes very excited to have this on my Spotify playlists now <3

Leaving of Liverpool--starts with a bang and loses zero of that energy. Some great a capella sections and again, very dancy. HYPED to hear this one live!

Mutiny--when I heard the preview on Apple I was happy for another comic Robbie song, and the full does not disappoint. Delightfully ironic, classic waltz with definite Sea of Thieves vibes (I say knowing only the SoT songs they've covered). I don't have a lot of words for this one but it's one of my favorites. Simply darling.

Skadi's Hammer--the Apple preview did NOT prepare me. I thought it was going to be a weird little dark song I wouldn't particularly care about beyond being happy for Andy's songwriting credit and. well. we all know how THAT turned out. you've already heard my livestream-night frothing at the mouth and I have since mostly overcome the full-body petrification that would strike me the first several times I listened to it, but AAH. the swooping shh and the drum and the harmonies and the imagery it's SO COOL if they're all going to be entirely immersive sensory experiences i need more andy songs in my headphones STAT please and thank you.

John the Red Nose--we joke about BIG HATCHETS AND CLEAVERS but that's really so fun and then the way it softens down for the last verse, giving the spare ribs to the poor? CHEF'S KISS BEAUTIFUL STRUCTURE the building and building and climax and then that gentle bit of kindness and charity als;kdjf again the ARTISTRY in the songs that couldn't even fit into my top say five or whatever is mind-blowing. the fiddle background is wonderful and the cold winter forest vibes are settling in properly after Skadi's harvest time.

Greenland Whale Fisheries--new harmonies! more deaths! a breath of fresh sea air after our visit to the forest! all good things in their familiar a capella trad style we love to see it

White Frontier--and now the seas have turned cold and the wind has picked up and the drums drums in the deep wait sorry wrong lore. the chorus absolutely slaps despite being about a lot of death. this doesn't quite hit my top tracks when I sit down and think about it, but it sure gets stuck in my head more than you'd expect for all that...xD

One Hundred Feet--a;sldkfjas;ldkfj;sadlk skadi's hammer hit me physically, but this one hit my feels. classic TLJ vibes. a pleasure to the ears, a wringing of the ol' heartstrings. i'm in love. there's something so comforting about Robbie's sad singing, isn't there? and the harmonies on that one change-up bit in a chorus near the end are absolute perfection. can't sing this one's praises enough.

Willie Taylor--girlboss time ft. some fun sound effects! dally dilly dumm dilly dumm dum dum dum dally dilly dum dilly all the wayyyy. a little funky for my tastes in places but not much more than Bonny Ship the Diamond which I sometimes have a hankering for regardless. I'm not clear on whether she killed Willie's new bride-to-be or not but I'd rather not know. Nicely eases you out of sad feels and gets you ready for funtimes.

Maggie's Ship--I believe this is what the people call a 'banger'? heavy on the cymbals but the slap bass goes hard. cacophonic in places, especially the end but. survivable. And a fun character sketch, Dave's lyric work here is delightfully twisty!

Shawneetown--what can I say. harmonies. stompability. pure joy. never gets old love love love.

Paddy West--THE closer of closers. restful without a jarring drop of momentum, engaging and funny to keep up the positive vibes of the last few songs, and the gradual attenuation at the end is BEAUTIFULLY done.

Overall I really admire how there's songs for such a variety of tastes on here, the artistry on display within that variety, and how structured the flow of the songlist is. It feels just like its name--truly a voyage in song.

Okay so, I came up with two completely different fics here xD

Doing inventory This would be something cute. Like, I'd start it your regular inventory but then move onto turning it to a bit sillier inventory, like "okay, where are those 10 pallets of crackers we got during the last shipment? I'm talking to you, trooper, where have they gone? ... What do you mean the soft-shells at Level 78 took them?! They're not allowed to do that without - oh, for kark's sake, I'm just going to comm the sergeant."

Sentience for beginners OK. Seeing this title made me kinda want to go and dust of the box that involves all my TF Fandom Headcanons and Facts and shake it until the bare skeletons of a cross-over plot fell out of it.

You see, Optimus Prime has a line that was printed on the side of the box of the very first G1 Optimus Prime toy package back in the 80s, and it goes

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings."

So what would Optimus Prime (and the Autobots) do if faced with an army of clones that are basically an army of slaves and aren't identified as 100% sentient (let's follow that headcanon here for the fic)? Would it be horrify him since meeting the clones would remind hime of the Cybertronians past as the slaves of the Quintessons (if I go and follow the G1 canon here, let's leave the other 'verses alone just for our sanity's sake).

And how would the clones react at meeting giant, transforming "droids" that see themselves as a sentient race with their own culture and history when compared to the semi-sentient droids they fight.

I can see mistakes and insults happening on both sides as two so different (but also similar?) group of beings have to reconsider what they consider as 'sentient'.

10. What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with Azrael?

Oooohh okay now this is the funny thing- The current Az that you guys know (and love) is actually from a Modern Day AU! All of my OCs are originally from my Angel-verse which I won't go too much detail into and you can read a little about in a previous ask!

I personally think Fantasy would be super fun to explore for Az? Like DnD or LotR or WoW or King Arthur type of Fantasy! I'm not very well-versed in that area so sorry for the media examples HAHA. I personally think that Az would suit being a knight ngl!

But...I DO have another "AU" that my friend and I came up with during one of our Christmas Exchange events. It's a Christmas AU where Az is a Nutcracker Soldier that Sugar Plum Prince Asmo has a massive crush on.

It originally was just normal Az and Asmo all dressed up for Christmas but @mmmlarte and I kinda just expanded on it ever so slightly so I guess you could count it as a Fantasy AU! xD

Revice forward is out as a RAW and I know the true nature of Hiromi;s "Inner Demon" XD

but I will say this, the ending credits show some scenes from the show and, Olteca doesn't appear in this movie... but he's heavily featured in the credits but Revice be pretending that Hikaru doesn't exist lol!

I guess, he is the universally hated character among Revice, there's that.

Yeah, I knew about ~that~ too. I got spoiled some time ago, lol, so I knew what I was in for when I watched it tonight. Muramasa isn't Hiromi's inner demon- he's a clone, created without his knowledge while getting treatment.

Tbf, I suspected it as well, since Hiromi's inner demon had already been destroyed prior to this. It was the T-rex Deadman, which was the very first Deadman Ikki and Vice defeated as ReVice. And as far as we know, no one whose inner demon became a Deadman had it restored, so I doubted Muramasa was an inner demon ala Kagerou.

As for Olteca, I'm willing to bet his inclusion Love Yourself was a foreshadowing for the TTFC special. We knew it was happening- they announced it way back when Revice ended- but they just didn't say when. And of course, the trailer for the special dropped right after the TTFC release of the V-Cinema.

His inclusion makes sense too, if you look at how they grouped the vocals. In the first verse, it was Igarashi bros + SakuHana + Fenix ossans (hey George is older than Hiromi lol) + Deadmans boys. Another verse had Igarashi sibs + Deadmans trio + Fenix ossans. A subtle one in the end, they did primary male Riders (Ikki + Daiji + Hiromi) for the line "[We've found the answer] to our journey" (reflecting their respective character development in the show)

Basically, the groups they made were for duos and trios that were already strongly associated together in some way.

Unfortunately, poor Hikaru just doesn't really fit in there lol. Sure, you can say he's in Weekend with Hana and Go but he's not really associated with Hana to justify a "Weekend trio" group with her and Go. So... sorry my dude you're sitting this out XD

1. How do you draft your threads usually?

So if I'm drafting to draft, I may or may not write a little / some notes before sending it to my drafts. That's where the magic happens later (where I write) and then of course I save it, exit out to snip it (thank you Xkit Rewritten crew!) and post! I'll use a short queue if I have a lot of stuff.

2. Do you believe in long notes threads or each time the plot changes, you write a new starter?

This is a big "it depends" because I think what I really am is a lover of massive threads that stretch over the course of a lot of mostly-consecutive events. However -- and this is where the "it depends" bit comes out -- this only applies to single plotlines. If we try out something new, some au of our muse's canon, or if we do something in a backstory time period, I really think it belongs in a separate (long) thread.

3. Do you feel jealous of doubles? and if no, please share ways for others to learn.

I cannot stress enough to you (the RPC in general) how much I love "doubles" -- and henceforth we're calling them twins, because at best I've seen "doubles" as neutral and mostly it's "doubles" /derogatory and we don't do that in House Kat.

No but twins are fantastic. First off, the mun could (should) be built-in support: they love the same character (proof that they've got similar taste), they love the same piece of media the character is from, and both of you loving this same character immediately opts you into a timetravel thread, check mate.

I think jealousy about twin muses comes from a couple different places, really. Insecurity is the big one, insecurity that they'll be the better writer, that people will like them better, that you'll lose your partners to them... and then possessiveness. Now first, If there is a twin, you can bet it's not of your OC; it may be of a player character, like a main character you customized from an RPG, but it is not your original character (by which I mean both original in every way, and original within a fandom space). That's your baby, we're not talking about that. We're talking canons (divergent, AU, whatever) and player characters here, the ones that can be -- I'll use it this once -- duplicated.

But here's the thing: no two people write the same character the same way. There may be a lot in common, because you are (duh) working from the same template. In fact let me correct myself: there should be a lot in common and if you come up with nothing... something ain't right. (Yes, even say SWTOR player characters. There's massive difference in personality of Light Side / Dark Side but they still go through the same life events. They still have the same people around them.)

I'm not saying there's no originality. Like, I play with other Genesis Rhapsodos RPers -- I've been blessed with five extended writing partners over the years that come to mind. I think out of the six of us I'm the only one who had Genesis 1) model for extra money as a Third (2) have completed some college during SOLDIER -how much varies- and (3) embraces and uses magic as a marriage of science and the supernatural. (That one depends on verses.)

He also thinks Loveless is meh in any non-degrading verse.

We're all different on that, and that's FANTASTIC. Being able to have someone write a "what if" about this character you love for you? Wonderful. Being able to sling headcanons back and forth? Glorious. Having someone who loves your blobo as much as you do to talk with?

Priceless.

The whole thing is, really, and if you take nothing else away please understand 99% of the time, no one's "copying" you. You have the same character/template and they see the character similar to how you do, which is very common and reasonable. Please, calm down y'all.

So uh, if you're still reading (kudos you VIP!) I am NOT jealous of my twins. I am confident as a writer in my unique take and absolutely love to talk to people who love the same character -- isn't that what RP is about? Loving other people's takes and putting yours out there?

The Stripper!AU, of which This Could All Be Yours is part 1, will absolutely be a series! I have up 'til part 4 fully outlined, and a tentative idea / trying out stuff for part 5. I cannot wait to get back in this verse, I'm itching for it!! All the parts will be connected with a scenario throughline, all the while they will focus on the different employees of the Ghost club, their own issues, challenges, dynamics, tensions and kinks. Lots of kinks, various kinks and kinky, filthy, delicious shit to come in each part because I am me and such things are unavoidable in my writing XD You'll get to see Rain and Swiss again eventually, where the story takes them, but there will be bumps along the way before then :P

Now, it will be a while since I'll get to dip back in the verse and properly tackle part 2, since my writing schedule is pretty packed for the next months. January is my Ifrit titties fic, that comes out this Thursday or Friday depending on how smoothly the finishing parts of editing go. February is the femslash February challenge where I will aim to produce two pieces of femslash media, if course it's gonna be our lovely ghoulettes! March, tentatively, will be a collab project with a wonderful author from this fandom, to really fuck yall up and Awaken some new kinks for some people maybe xD

Ezreal was flipping through the channels on TV. The rehabilitation center that he checked into was surprisingly accommodating to him. Most rehab centers usually function in a strict manner, similar to a mental asylum. Not this one. Some of the strictness was there but they were also a bit lax and actually gave them some privileges, like watching the TV. 

Watching TV is not often a good idea though as sometimes he comes across some news stories poking fun at him and his failed career. Other times, he manages to catch up on the latest gossip happening in the entertainment industry. Normally stuff like that should not excite him. But yet, some stories do. Like for example, the hype surrounding KDA who are currently the hottest girl band on the planet. He has watched their videos and their songs are good. He also likes Pentakill as well. All these artists inspire him to want to come back to the industry. However, he has yet to figure out how to make that comeback yet. 

It was then that he stopped on a music channel and funny enough, they played what appeared to be Sanji's latest music video. Ezreal naturally sits up and pays attention here because this is his idol we are talking about.

Sanji was dressed in a leather catsuit and was seated on a chair surrounded by his dancers. The catsuit is a nod to his early popstar days as Sanji was not Sanji without some form of leather. Ezreal observed that he had dyed his hair black and that he was wearing his signature round glasses which were black. An obvious reference to his character Black Cat from the movie Black Ops Squad.

As expected, Sanji's sex appeal is on display here with some BDSM themes inserted.

This is why Sanji was his idol. The guy gives zero fucks about what people truly think about him. Controversial yes? But talented? Hell yes. That rebellious spirit of his is the reason the majority of the LGBTQ community loves him.

The sheer audacity is enough to encourage anyone to want to think big. He did not completely allow the media and the public to get to him. Sure, that level of hate and scrutiny should have ended his career.

Yet there he was, showing them that he was going nowhere. Without realizing it, Ezreal began to take some notes. If he was going to make a comeback soon, he needed to change his image a bit.

But first, back to the book. He picks up the book and begins to read through the next chapter.

The next couple of years were peaceful for the most part which was a a good thing for all of us now that I think about it. Mother resumed work again and kept on pumping out music much to our collective delight.

It was during this time that our respective fashion sense began to develop. All of us, yes the boys included, would sneak off into Mum's room and raid her wardrobe and mess around in her clothes and makeup. Now you know where my flair for dramatics began.

I blame my mother for that one because that woman is one dramatic performer. Like have you seen that woman bring the house down on stage? Runs in the family I guess.

Ezreal chuckled at that little anecdote. It was nice to learn more about Sanji and his family, especially the younger years as that often plays a role in how people often turn out to be as adults. Reminds him of the days he would mess around with his own mother's stuff.

Another thing that runs in this household, at least the boys, is actually perverted behavior. Anytime we see someone hot, heart eyes everyone, just like a certain pirate cook.

Gets to the point that we all start fighting over who gets first dibs for the date. Those arguments get really heated and Mother loses her shit over our behavior and kicks our sorry asses.

Ezreal laughed so hard at that one. His One Piece character is a parody of his real-life persona so it is funny that he acknowledges that here. It is even more hilarious that the brothers are as bad as he is in that department.

Now in regards to my perverted nature in general, this is where things get really messy. One day as I was walking home from school, I ended up losing my way ike the little idiot I was back then. Then suddenly, a black SUV pulled up close to where I was and out came two hefty men who just grabbed me and dragged me into the car.

Father was in that car with the most evil smirk on his face. I struggled to break free but alas, what can an 11-year-old do? Puberty had not yet hit.

The old fart was staring at me with the most unreadable look on his face. I could not even speak at all. I just froze, fearing for my life. The next thing I knew, the man came closer and began to unzip my pants.

I screamed and tried to run but these men held onto me. That bastard began to suck me off right there and the next thing I knew, he began to fuck me in that SUV.....

Ezreal gasps in horror. He himself had a similar situation except his happened in school no thanks to a bully. No wonder Sanji was that messed up. There have been stories about his sex life over the years and this more or less confirms some of those horrific stories about him. Plus Sanji was 11 by that point too?! Shit!!

After hours of torture at the hands of this bastard, he dumped me off on the streets of our home. There I was lying down helplessly, in tears, completely violated.

My siblings soon found me and my brothers were able to put two and two together about what happened and told Mum. Mother was horrified and immediately filed a restraining order against Dad. I was put into therapy but it could only do so much as I never felt the same way since that day.

School was torture for me as I would try and chase girls, just like my character, yet there I was also fantasizing about boys as well. The old bastard seriously fucked up my mind. It certainly did not help that a lot of guys in school suddenly started getting attracted to me. Like I would be walking down the hallway and they would all be staring at my ass, some even going as far as to grope my ass.

I was not being sexy or anything, yet they gave me attention. I was a confused boy as the whole concept of sexuality was foreign to me. For years, I battled with my sexuality. I thought that I was going insane. But in reality, it almost felt like maybe this was who I was meant to be.

One particular day, I was in the bathroom and I noticed this Hispanic guy looking me up and down as I washed my hands. "Whatcha staring at?" I remember asking.

"You silly because you are the finest specimen I have ever seen," he replied. I laughed because that was the weirdest pickup line ever. He then came closer to me and began to rub my crotch. On a good day, I would have said no but deep down I wanted a release. So I let him give me a blowjob. That guy became my first lover. This was the beginning of my playboy lifestyle and I was only 13 by this point.

Ezreal pauses there and sighs. This chapter was quite heavy for him to read. For starters, it is shocking to hear what Sanji went through. On the other hand, this has forced him to start questioning himself, especially in regards to his own sexuality.

He had also asked similar questions about himself and whether he was crazy for showing interest in men. He appreciates Sanji's honesty about this.

A couple of hours later, he was about to head to his room when he saw a news coverage. "Breaking News: Judge Vinsmoke loses a variety of gigs and sponsorship after his son Sanji's shocking sexual abuse allegations come to light, causing a massive uproar."

"What a terrible man." says one of the nurses. "I hope he rots in hell for what he did to his son!!" says another nurse. It is great to see Sanji finally get justice and vindication for all the hell he and his family went through. He goes back to read more and boy was he horrified by the next things that he read:

I began to engage in a variety of wild sexual behavior. I would invite a variety of guys in school to the bathroom stalls or somewhere outside and they would fuck me on the spot. A couple of girls threw themselves at me as well and boy was I a bad boy back then. This was the birth of one of my stage personas King Nasty. I was going out of control without realizing it and my brothers and Reiju noticed and tried to stop me.

The truth is that I was desperate for love. I wanted attention and affection. Now you know why I became famous. I thought all that excess would cure my pain and the trauma that continued to eat me away. I was losing my mind. Plus I hung out with the wrong people. That is the warning I would give to every kid out there: mind the company you keep. 

I proved to be a little rebellious and ignored them. I was in my little world and became a hard-drinking party boy. I entered clubs at a young age at the time and engaged in all manners of reckless behaviour and also began to indulge in excessive drug use and started smoking by that time. I began to inhale a lot of cocaine at that point. I also worked briefly at a strip club for like 3 months. Plus I did a nude photoshoot at the time for money. That will come back to haunt me years later.

Ezreal's jaw drops. This is the first time he would hear about the nude photos. He was very young at the time when that happened. Sanji would have been 13-14 when Aogiri debuted so that is huge.

Around that same time, I signed a contract with Deevee Records and released my debut single Get Back which got zero attention and led to me getting kicked out of the label soon after. One of their producers Max discovered me at one of the clubs I was hanging at and offered me a record deal on the spot after hearing me sing.

I hated that song yet the label forced me to sing it. Cringey lyrics and even worse low budget video. 

He knew about Sanji's early debut as they showed a photo of that video. He looked different from the Sanji everyone knows and loves. He had black hair at the time meaning that he dyed his hair back to his natural blonde hair. Ah and a special fact. I met a certain special someone during this time. Who am I referring to? None other than my beloved current husband, Zoro or Marimo as I love to affectionately call him.

His eyes widened in shock. "WHAT!" So he knew Zoro for that long. It means that the so-called affair between him and Zoro began a long time.

Yes, Marimo and I actually go way back. You see, Zoro had started his musical career then as a member of Gear V whom I happened to be a huge fan of.  One easily forgets that Zoro was once one of the biggest musical stars at the time. The fact that Sanji calls him Marimo shows just how much he loves him.

I met Zoro at the recording studio one day. I noticed the way he kept staring at me and I gotta say, the feeling was mutual. Marimo was so handsome, so fucking sexy. I have a weakness for bad boys, similar to my mother. The fact that I remained attracted to him years after shows how much I loved him. Yes, I have always been in love with him and he with me.

"Aww."

We both recorded songs together which I never got to release. Still, I managed to get my hands on the demos and re-recorded after Aogiri debuted and I launched my solo debut. We even shot a music video for one of those songs years later which happened to be my debut solo single.  Yes that trash mess from the early days does not count ass a proper debut in my book.

Ezreal falls over laughing. This was how he felt about his own debut as well.

Zoro and I hit it off right away the moment we met and we even had a brief sexual encounter. We were friends with benefits at the time before becoming full fledged lovers. More on that later.

There. That was the confirmation about their relationship.

During this time, I met a pretty lady named Charlotte Pudding. Yes, that infamous Pudding. I fell in love with her, thinking she was the cure to my problem. The truth is far more complex than that. You see, Charlotte knew the family I was from and intended to use that to her advantage. I did not notice as I was extremely high at that point in my life. 

She took advantage of that and had sex with me at the strip club. Unbeknownst to me, she had someone secretly film our sexual encounter. What made me to finally break up with her was that that same night immediately after having sex with her and taking her virginity, she was also having sex with my then-so-called best friend Fred in my presence. I quit my job at the strip joint and broke off contact with her. She tried to beg me but I was not having it.

I got checked into rehab and came out sober for a while. It was during this time that an ad for a TV show named Popstars: The Rivals was advertised on TV. Mother encouraged me to audition. At first I was hesitant because of what had just happened but after some nagging from Reiju, I finally agreed and signed up for the show. Little did I know that my life was going to completely change from here on out...

"Damn!!" says Ezreal. That is yet another big bombshell. Around the time Ezreal debuted, Sanji was embroiled in a massive sex tape scandal at the time. Now Sanji has not only confirmed that one but has also given some clear context about what happened. It is disgusting to think that so many people took advantage of him. Just like Ezreal and his own addiction problems. The folks he hung around with at the time did that to him too.

"If Sanji and I ever meet again, we would have a lot to talk about."

Ah, so you like yeeting the characters from their own world into another, like most LiveJournal/Dreamwidth RP games I’ve participated in. XD Nothing wrong with that, it’s a venerable tradition, and one I quite enjoy as well. Valicer In The Dark just works best if everyone is native to the timeline...though I do enjoy yeeting the trio from that into OTHER worlds so people can react to just how fucked up their native world is (short form, sun blew up and afterlife broke 850 years ago so everyone lives in eternal night with ghosts everywhere). XD And I see – I’ve had plenty of AUs like that, where it ends up just being a few scraps of an idea. Maybe one day the Sanitized Cephalopocalypse shall come into the spotlight, but it is not this day. :p

*pats* Trust me, I feel that. *stares at the growing list of scores and such for my Valicer In The Dark verse* Like, brain, not only are there only so many hours in the day, but I’m working on other stuff too… *sigh* Hopefully you get some time to get to work on it soon enough! And huh, had no idea there was a manga (though I guess I’m not actually surprised, given I understand it’s a pretty popular game...sorry to hear that it’s apparently not very good, or at least the main plotline isn’t). *snrk* Yeah, you murder that canon – if you’re having fun, who cares, and I, a person who has never played Splatoon and is very unlikely ever to because I don’t like multiplayer games, isn’t going to be able to tell the difference. :p Though I did know the whole thing about humanity going extinct in those games – so yeah, I can imagine there’s going to be a lot of “wow, humans!” among the inklings, who are otherwise just vibing. Unlike everyone else in this universe. XD

Ooooh~ :D How interesting – so it sounds like there are going to be some shenanigans with Wonderland and Headspace and their potential connection to dreams/the afterlife. Though I feel a bit bad for that character who had their world forced on them – that’s never fun. And ooooh, cool! We do love a good spirit design. (LOL, I see – and yeah, honestly, if you’re doing the Liddell sisters as anthropomorphic animals, they HAVE to be cats of some description. Just like Victor would have to be a dog in my head)

It is fascinating culture clash times, isn’t it? And yeah, you know what, that’s fair, I do put them through a lot of shit. (I mean, Alice’s shit is mostly just the same shit she got in canon, but Victor definitely gets extra bullshit.) And TELL me about it, I’d love for there to be a 2024 that doesn’t suck and where everybody could just get along and be happy, human and nonhuman and other (for the most part, since dumb shit causing conflict is ALWAYS gonna happen). I would HOPE cake and candy would be cheaper for them, but I honestly have no idea how current prices would compare to the 1870s anymore. Though I hear you on going down the research rabbit hole – I used to have so many various Victorian trivia websites bookmarked when I was writing the Forgotten Vows Verse. XD We do love our shipping goodness… And LOL, I see – so, basically, the portion of Whitechapel that Victor and Alice spend most of their time in doesn’t notice anything’s up until at least a few months in, and then they realize what’s going on, and – well. It’s not like they didn’t have ENOUGH to deal with before discovering that huge chunks of different worlds have been suddenly thrown together through unknown means. XD Like, Alice is like “I really wish this WAS just a hallucination of mine, because then I’d know I could get back to the real world at SOME point.” XD And yeah, I imagine that’s easier for everyone than in the Time Travel AU (and I’m sure they’d love to meet the dork!)

Ahhhh, I see – so they’re being thrown around to help fix different worlds, or at least help people in those worlds? Well, you think the universe would be kind enough to give them a head’s-up on what they’ll be investigating. *shakehead* Poor kiddos… And I see – well, at least Manami doesn’t have to worry about the fighting and death, usually? I mean, granted, I don’t think she’s gonna be wild about this assignment, especially when it comes out what Bumby’s been doing, but still. She can leave any fighting up to Alice in Wonderland. (And Victor punching out Jack Splatter.)

Oh, I know a bit about Okami! I’m pretty sure a guy I used to watch for his video game LPs did a LP of that game once! And Victor had some nice interactions with some Ammys over on Dreamwidth back when I did RP over there. :) Not really familiar with Okamiden other than it stars adorable puppy kiddo. :p But ah, okay, I see – well, okay, I’m not sure I DO see, but I get that we have two sisters and one not-brother thanks to time anomaly weirdness, and they all have special supernatural powers but not necessarily the ones that they’re supposed to have. (I do not blame Manami for NOT wanting to tell anyone about her very powerful pyrokinesis, ESPECIALLY Alice. I feel like this would be an EXCEEDINGLY bad idea, at least at first. Alice would need some time to get used to the idea, and would probably STRONGLY PREFER Manami never use it in front of her if possible.) And LOL, maybe – I know he has the spell for seeing magical auras, and if he used that on her, it would probably be a “WTF ARE YOU” moment, since her magic would be SO DIFFERENT from what he knows. XD

*snrk* I mean, I’m sure there’s only so much the guy can do, given that his magical experience cannot help her particular brand of supernatural weirdness. And I see, interesting… (sounds like it’s time to go look this sucker back up – you want all the info you can on fae-like creatures!) And that’s good! I mean, I don’t know if he will appreciate having such an important role, since, again, this is entirely new supernatural weirdness for him, but still. XD (And ooooh, well then – sounds like they’re going to be doing some fighting of dangerous mental creatures. Strength in numbers is always a plus there!)

Oh come on, purple is my favorite color! Why were so many Victorian paints and dyes and whatnot made with damn arsenic?! (Because they didn’t realize that arsenic was dangerous even if you weren’t eating it *sigh*) I’m not sure if it would be popular in Burtonsville because they seem to be allergic to color in general, but I guess the original form would be dark enough for their gloomy sensibilities… (And don’t say stuff like that, because then it puts the idea in my head XD I shall spare him the purple wallpaper, but maybe Nell has a fancy purple dress she brings out for special occasions…) Hopefully his tie is not murdering him every time he plays with it! Seriously, Victorians, can you not poison yourselves for the sake of color… And I can’t say I blame her! I wouldn’t want to touch anything from the Victorian era either at this point! (Though yes, gotta take some risks when it comes to keeping Bumby from being all Bumby at her friends. That guy is worse news than arsenic.)

Awww, good – they need a kind person in their lives. And yeah, unfortunately that kind of closeness wouldn’t exactly be tolerated in the time and location that they all find themselves in! Oh, I’m pretty sure Victor had a lot more than one moment of going red if Manami is as pretty as you say she is. XD But yes, Alice is definitely going to be the one having the most crises as she tries to figure out what the fuck these new feelings are that she’s having for this impulsive-yet-kindhearted new woman in their lives. XD Good to have an idea what Manami and her siblings look like anyway! Sounds like they’ve all got really cool-looking eyes too, even if two of them don’t have the “standard” eye color for their family type. (Nothing wrong with a pretty teal, and thanks to Smiler I am a pretty big fan of yellow, soooo…)

Oh Manami – though honestly, Alice would totally sympathize with/get Manami ending up in a dissociative state from ADHD, given her own brain problems (even if hers are a different flavor from Manami’s). And she’d probably be interested in the fidget cube – Victor too, if he spotted her with it. I suspect he might actually like those kinds of toys – keep his hands away from his tie. :p And I seeeee – sounds like Manami has some learning to do if she wants to see Cheshire and the others! But Alice appreciates the support no matter what. :)

Which Victor also appreciates! It’s nice to have more people believe him about Emily. (And LOL, I bet, though I suspect Victor would actually rather like that song. XD It’s a bit of fun, isn’t it?) And awww, I see… Butterflies do seem to be associated a lot with death and rebirth and all that, huh? (And I’m not surprised if you have a spirit form for a certain older sister…)

Ooooh, oh boy...well, I mean, I get why she would be very reluctant to bring up that the person she considers her soulmate isn’t human, that’s a hell of a thing to admit. And probably wouldn’t be taken well by a decent number of people. :( But if anything poly happens, she’s gonna have to bring it up sometime. Not the kind of secret you can keep from people you are now potentially going to be romantically involved with! Hopefully they can all work their way through the revelation if and when it becomes relevant.

LOL, oh dear – I imagine he’d do his BEST to keep up with her, but – well. He’s not the highest-energy person, and while he appreciates her enthusiasm about music...some of it just isn’t for him. XD And yeah, I can bet – Victor isn’t so great at that kind of multitasking! (And I am PERFECTLY FINE with that – non-con is not my thing either, really, and I actually was really hoping to AVOID the whole Thirteen situation when I FIRST came up with this verse. I just realized it wasn’t realistic and thus tried to make sure Victor’s torment was kept to as short a period as possible. :( Yes, let the mind-jumping happen in different ways for different purposes, instead of Victor dealing with massive trauma!)

XD Like, he’d be FASCINATED, but also “I really don’t think I can help you much here.” XD But honestly, it’s probably good that she tries her hardest to not muck up the timeline, we want time travelers to be careful. But it sounds like the time situation is pretty weird already. O.o

*snrrk* We’re all disappointed about the lack of flying cars (though, as someone who has to drive on a regular basis, I don’t think I’d trust the average motorist WITH a flying car, honestly. Ground-based cars are dangerous enough!)

Jas and I adopted Luke and we share custody with his creator -- Rust. We also adopted Lindsay from another friend of ours! We revamped her only just a couple of years back, hehe.

I technically adopted Jas's OCs as she did with mine! So we're all just one big happy (?) family.

Oh gosh, this is a question I don't think I'll be able to confidently answer cuz even I don't really know what I'm doing here on Tumblr!

But I guess the easiest person that I can give you is Lindsay? Her Tumblog would be very sparkly magical Anime-vibes complete with those auto-play music players (idk if those still exist xD). She loves anything and everything Anime so that's probs the way she would go about reblogging and such too! Probs lots of quotes from Anime as well. :>

Yeah I think I do, for sure!! :D

For looks - I think it's the shaved sides hairstyle? I really love short hair and shaved sides. Quite a few of my OCs have that hairstyle but I really do try to give them more variety.. xD

For traits - I think 90% of my OCs are goofy, silly (and crazy). So it'll have to be those traits hahaha. The only person who is actually sane and logical in the Uni-verse is Az (tho he is a massive dork)! But in a world full of silly characters, he's considered the outlier.
